Patrick Stewart is once again a married man. The Star Trek legend got hitched — for the third time — to singer-songwriter Sunny Ozell on Sunday, Sept. 8. The 73-year-old star also shared the news via Twitter. “Yes, married,” he simply wrote. The Star Trek Next Generation actor also posted a sweet photo of the couple submerged in a colorful ball pit on their big day.
Stewart’s good friend and X-Men costar Ian McKellen even officiated the ceremony. “I did my part,” the Lord of the Rings actor wrote on his official Facebook page, sharing a picture of himself holding up a “Minister” black t-shirt and the couple’s marriage certificate. The newlyweds moved fast, as they are already on their honeymoon.
Stewart and Ozell, 35, have been together for five years since meeting at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 2008. The X-Men star has two children from his previous marriage with Sheila Falconer from 1966 to 1990 and was married to Wendy Neuss from 2000 to 2003.
