Olivia Palermo, reality TV starlet turned honest-to-goodness social starlet (and all-around beautiful person) has scored yet another beauty gig according to today’s news from WWD.
Previously she has collaborated with Aquazurra and Aspinal for accessories; earlier this month she released a La Mer digital campaign, and now… she’s signed on as Creative Director of Ciaté until spring 2016.
“[Palermo] resonates with us as a brand because she is never afraid to experiment with her look,” said Charlotte Knight, chief executive officer and founder of Ciaté.
In her new role, she will provide input across the brand and collaborate on a range of products — four makeup and nail collections containing more than 18 stockkeeping units –to celebrate the company’s entry into color cosmetics.
Her first assortments, priced between $22 and $45, will launch globally in May at Sephora.
“I’ve been involved with the colors, packaging, marketing, the formulas and working very closely with Charlotte to make sure that everything is to the detail of how I like it,” Palermo told WWD. “Everything is a learning process and educating yourself on beauty is different than fashion, but they both go hand in hand.”
