Toshiba is reportedly bringing out by end of the year a 3D TV that will not need special glasses.
The technology, called autosterescopic 3D, is being worked on by various companies, but Toshiba’s rumored launch of it in Japan by year’s end would be an earlier than expected reveal of the technology. Most expected glass-less TVs to be a few years away.
Most experts are skeptical of 3D TV if users are forced to wear special glasses, but autosterescopic 3D could potentially be a game changing technology.
