Photographer Robert Polidori works with a custom-built large-format camera to take pictures filled with voluminous, voluptuous detail. The world-renowned photographer, whose career began when he photographed the restoration of Versailles, has explored subjects including Castro’s Havana and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Polidori brought his unique focus to the extraordinary detail and construction of the Bottega Veneta Fall-Winter 2011/2012 collection, featuring model Nicolas Ripoll, and shot in Venice in the 16th-century Palazzo Papadopoli.
