The National Civic League has named it’s 10′ All-American Cities.’ The program recognizes communities for outstanding civic accomplishments, including their ability to address serious challenges with innovative, grassroots strategies that promote civic engagement and cooperation between the public, private and nonprofit sectors.
The winners of this year’s competition – now in its 61st year, are Chandler, AZ, Lynwood, CA, Rancho Cordova, CA, North Miami, FL, Acworth, GA, Des Moines, Iowa, Salisbury, MD, Gastonia, NC, Mount Pleasant, SC, and El Paso, TX.
