Works by Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso will headline an upcoming auction at Christie’s in London – an auction which could become the biggest ever.
A single Monet is expected to fetch upwards of $50 million, while one Picasso will net $60 million. However, recent sales – including a record $106.5 million for a Picasso – could make the prices go even higher.
This, plus an exceptional gallery of other artwork, could make this the biggest art auction ever.
Also up for auction will be works from Edouard Vuillard, Renior, Signac, Matisse, Van Gogh, Henry Moore and many others.
All this will likely make this the biggest sale ever for Christie’s.
