Michelle Williams has returned for a new Louis Vuitton campaign shot by Peter Lindbergh and styled by Carine Roitfeld.
In the new adverts, the 33-year-old Williams shows off Louis Vuitton’s latest bags and luggage, including the Lockit, Capucines, and Alma bags, all representing “three different facets of femininity” according to the luxury brand.
The Lockit is a reinterpretation of a 1950s design, with Williams posing as a classic ‘Parisienne,’ in a series of nonchalant looks. The ladylike Capucines gets a more serious treatment, while the Alma’s colorful mix of Epi leathers are showcased with the actress goofing around on a pile of Vuitton trunks.
Once again shot by famed fashion photographer Lindbergh and styled by the legendary Roitfeld, Louis Vuitton has certainly pulled out all the stops. Hair duties were taken care of by Sam McKnight and makeup by Stéphane Marais.
One of the stars of the Oscar-winning “Brokeback Mountain,” last fall Williams finished filming a big screen adaptation of “Suite Française” by Irène Némirovsky.
