After wowing Americans with his makeup line, Marc woos Parisians by presenting the complete collection at Sephora Champs-Élysées.
The designer himself greeted fans and shoppers at the one of the leading perfume and cosmetics stores in France to mark the launch.
Shelves at Sephora’s Paris flagship store as well their online site are loaded with a range of beauty-enhancing products from Marc’s eponymous label. Designed to be used by boys as well girls, Marc Jacobs Beauty line comprises of the Genius Gel foundation in various shades, Remedy corrector/concealer, Shameless blush, Magic Marc’er eyeliner, Love Marc lipsticks, Lust for Lacquer lip-glosses, silky eye shadows in a eye-catching colors and much more. The range of attractive colors of Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer is inspired by Marc’s favorite movies. Along with these and more, the packaging of the collection also entices with its seductive fluid shapes in a high-shine inky black lacquer finish that any women wouldn’t want to put down.
The American fashion designer commented on the need for such a collection, “To me makeup is an accessory like a shoe or bag. It is a luxury that women love to succumb.” He also added that “it’s part of the art of getting dressed. It’s a tool which, just like clothes and accessories, allows you to create the image you want to present to the world.” Marc also encapsulated “I think that everyone would be much nicer if people did what they want rather than what others expect or what society tells them to do. I do not really like the word “must”. For me, beauty is when people feel bold and they follow their own rules.”
