Under LVMH’s canopy, the world leader in luxury, brands are persistently innovating and developing new products as well as targeting new customers. Time is ticking fast for LVMH-owned Tag Heuer as the Swiss watch manufacturing company is all set to launch its first Android-powered smartwatch. Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tag Heuer and President of the LVMH Watch Division shares a few insights about the Tag Heuer smartwatch that is scheduled to launch on 9th November in New York.
Developed in partnership with Intel (for its microprocessor) and Google (for the Google Wear software), this revolutionary new chronograph is designed to connect with the current Tag Heuer clientele and also win over more smart-choice-making fans.
Claiming to be one of the leading accessible luxury watch brands, the watch brand is counting days to release the world’s first luxury Android Wear smartwatch. Though it wouldn’t be manufactured in Switzerland, the Tag Heuer watch will be assembled in Switzerland for sure. Expected to feature a battery life of 40 hours, the Tag Heuer Connected Watch is estimated to cost about $1,400 in the US. Detailed technical features will surface with the launch.
A Swiss avant-garde watch brand since 1860, Tag Heuer is a brand that appeals to a young and dynamic clientele strongly connected to the future.
