The Swiss luxury brand, TAG Heuer, known for developing exclusive and stylish watches and mobile phones, launched an Android-based smartphone, which incorporates a technology that makes it fully water resistant. Racer Sub Nano, for this is the name of the phone, features something called ‘Waterblock’ nano-technology. This protects the phone’s internal components from liquids of any kind, from humidity to body moisture. “By integrating the innovative Waterblock technology, TAG Heuer Racer Sub Nano provides unprecedented accident protection without sacrificing the powerful functionality and aesthetics for which TAG Heuer is renowned.”
Racer Sub Nano is the latest Racer from the collection, being produced in limited edition of 500 pieces. TAG Heuer’s latest luxury smartphone “follows the core design codes of the Racer Racing Carbon smartphone with its elongated, octagonal form and sporty, durable design.”
The handset boasts a 3.5 inch display, a 1Ghz processor, a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera and a 640 x 480 pixel VGA video front camera. Indeed, nothing outstanding! Honestly, I’ve expected a little bit more (power) from a handset that costs more than 25 pieces of iPhone5S. Price: $ 6791.
