Rosewood Hotel Georgia has partnered with Vancouver’s brand new Nordstrom, located just steps from the hotel, to offer The Nordstrom Shopping Experience. The package includes an overnight stay, a unique shopping experience and complimentary breakfast and lunch. Travelers who book the package also receive a welcome arrival gift from Nordstrom, lunch for two at Nordstrom’s Bistro Verde and a personal stylist in the JWN Room. Daily valet parking, express alterations and complimentary delivery of purchases to the hotel are also included. After a full day of shopping, guests can also enjoy a craft cocktail at the hotel’s swanky, 1920’s inspired bar, Prohibition.
Rosewood London’s Christmas Slow Food & Living Market, open from November 29 – December 20, will offer travelers a unique shopping experience, featuring over 30 festive-themed stalls from local growers and artisans. Guests and locals can browse seasonal snacks including raw hot chocolate, organic mulled wine, freshly-roasted chestnuts and more, and can also join festive workshops including raw snack-making (chocolate-coconut truffles, peanut butter cookies, beetroot brownies, etc.) and wreath and floral centerpiece classes.
The Knickerbocker Hotel in NYC (Times Square) during the holidays will provide guests with a personalized shopper for the day who will have a telephone call with the guest prior to arrival and can arrange a full day of shopping throughout the city. Additionally, the concierge at the hotel has relationships with personal shoppers in a range of high-end stores such as Tiffany’s, Bergdorf Goodman, etc. The Knickerbocker also offer guests a walking tour of all the signature festive holiday window displays in Manhattan.
Smyth, a Thompson Hotel in Tribeca recently partnered with Donna Karan’s West Village shop, Urban Zen, to offer guests an insider’s shopping experience. The boutique showcases a collection of luxurious apparel, distinctive jewelry, and handcrafted art personally curated by Donna Karan during her world travels. Ten percent of all proceeds go towards the nonprofit Urban Zen Foundation which focuses on raising awareness and inspiring change in the areas of well-being, cultural preservation and empowering children. Those who book the Urban Zen Package at the recently renovated Smyth Hotel will receive daily breakfast for two at the property’s Little Park restaurant, a welcome gift curated by Urban Zen and $250 gift card towards a purchase of $1,000 or more from Urban Zen. Guests will also be provided with a private tour of the store’s adjacent Urban Zen Center and Loft, the former private residence of Donna Karan which has been converted into a holistic retreat. There guests can enjoy light fare and relax with a complimentary restorative session performed by an Urban Zen Integrative Therapist.
