Louis Vuitton ad campaigns are designed to be at par with the brand’s leather and lifestyle products! Rizzoli New York has chronicled the French label’s advertising campaigns, editorial images and fashion articles in an album. Christened, Louis Vuitton Fashion Photography, the limited-edition book is a treasure chest holding almost 200 images featuring Louis Vuitton products.
Including work of the renowned photographers like Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Henry Clarke, Patrick Demarchelier, Annie Leibovitz, Peter Lindbergh, Craig McDean, Steven Meisel, Helmut Newton, Juergen Teller, Mario Testino, and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, among others, the high-on-fashion volume will be released this fall.
WWD also reveals that the book is divided into three main sections which include fashion articles since 1977, Louis Vuitton advertising campaigns and a flashback to the Fifties. Each of it is accompanied with an introduction by photography writer and curator Charlotte Cotton. The white canvas cover of the Louis Vuitton photograph album will also feature one of three different photographs, by Demarchelier, McDean or Bert Stern.
Published by Rizzoli, the English and French version of the 352-page album will hit the shelves of select Louis Vuitton stores worldwide and through louisvuitton.com for $130 from 1st October. While the bookstore edition will be sold from 15th October for $85.
