Lotus Scura Exige Stealth Edition will unleashed at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show.
This is the Lotus Scura, the so-called Exige Stealth Edition which will be showcased at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show. In fact, the Scura is a tweaked Exige S capable to deliver an impressive 260 hp, with 40 hp more than the standard Exige. Although it has a bigger amount of power the car still delivers an impressive fuel consumption of 8.5 litres/100 km and 6.5 litres/100 km on the Official European Extra Urban Cycle and emissions of 199 g/km of CO2. The Lotus Exige Scura is capable to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds, to 160 km/h (100 mph) in 9.9 seconds while the top speed achieved is 245 km/h (152 mph). Due to its name which means ‘Stealth’ in Italian, the new car features a matt “Phantom Black” finish as well as sports seats, centre consol, oil cooler inlet valves and front splitter made of carbon fibre. Lotus will begin taking orders for this new car right after the Tokyo Motor Show closes its doors and prices will start at €60.000 or £45,000! – From James List
