Younger sister stepping into elder sister’s footsteps is not unheard. But Moss sisters have managed to make it to headlines for the same. Kate Moss first posed for Calvin Klein 21 years ago and now her half sister, Lottie Moss has been roped in by the same brand to be the face of its new collaboration. The American fashion house has partnered with Mytheresa.com for The Re-Issue Project. This capsule collection will include reissued pieces of Calvin Klein’s classic denim designs.
The Kate Moss look-alike teen model looks fresh dressed in the latest pieces from Calvin Klein Jeans x MyTheresa collection. Designed by Calvin Klein Jeans’ Global Creative Director, Kevin Carrigan, the limited edition collection includes boyfriend tapered jeans, high-waisted skinny jeans, sweatshirts, T-shirts and denim jackets all sporting the iconic CK logo. The capsule collection also intrigues with “You want to know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing” tagline.
The black and white images show junior Moss exhibiting her supermodel like attitude along with key pieces from the brand. The 16 year Lottie was captured by photographer Michael Avedon for the campaign of the new collection. Speaking in awe of his muse, he stated, “Lottie truly represents the essence of the Calvin Klein girl. Intriguing innocence with utter beauty – it was wonderful to photograph this beautiful young lady!”
Commenting on the collaboration, a spokesperson from Mytheresa.com, said, “For me there is one brand which epitomises clean American sportswear and denim – Calvin Klein Jeans. We at Mytheresa.com have seen a huge resurgence in fashion towards the aesthetic which Calvin Klein Jeans pioneered, which led to us collaborating with the brand.”
Calvin Klein Jeans x mytheresa.com The Re-Issue Project collection, ranging from $100-$400, will be exclusively available at mytheresa.com beginning July 16th.
