But while many SUVs seem like steel-and-leather-clad fashion accessories, few have the Land Rover’s off-road prowess. The LR2’s heart is its all-wheel-drive system, coupled to Land Rover’s “Terrain Response” system, which adjusts the engine, transmission, all-wheel-drive and chassis systems depending on driving conditions. Most of the time, the system runs in General Driving mode, but other options include Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Ruts and Sand. – from Here
