Chanel Haute Couture show racked up lot of attention for its collection as well as it casino theme setup. While most of the creations by Karl Lagerfeld were summarized as stylish and successful, it was the French label’s bridal outfit that garnered the loudest applause. Each season, Karl Lagerfeld hand-picks a bride to close his couture show. For the closing look of the Fall-Winter 2015/16 Haute Couture show Karl presented Kendall Jenner as his tuxedo bride.
Dressed as a pretty unconventional bride, Kendall Jenner stepped out in her white satin wedding suit. Her look subtly played on masculine-feminine codes with its wide-shouldered, double-breasted jacket matched with a slightly flared pant. The jacket sported epaulettes, four pockets and two rows of buttons with a camellia tacked to its lapel.
Accentuating the graphic yet relaxed lines of the tuxedo were the strap-on ivory booties with geometric heels. The only nod to tradition came in the form of the long embroidered tulle veil, which flowed from the shoulders to form a quirky train, lending a feminine twist to the silhouette. Her short faux bob also flaunted a floral embellishment.Emphasizing on the strong independent bridal look for the seasons to come, the fashion designer gladly gave Kendall a quick kiss as the bride of his show.Chanel
