Katharine Hepburn’s Old Saybrook Estate in Connecticut has just hit the real estate market, with a price tag of $28 million. The completely renovated 8300 square foot waterfront estate includes 6 bedroom (3 suites), 7.5 bath, private dock & beach. There’s also a pond on the opposite side of the home, securing privacy and relaxation. All the sporty luxuries are offered, like golf, tennis, and boating. The house was built in 1939 after the Hurricane of ‘38 leveled the original shingle-style home, built by Hepburn’s parents in 1912. The actress rebuilt her dream house out of brick, costing $300,000, and became the most expensive house ever built in Connecticut at the time.
