Forty year old Kate Moss sure knows how to handle paparazzi with 25 years of modelling career behind her. However it isn’t easy to be at ease and style while being chased by photographers all the time. Themed on this reality, Gucci has roped in Moss to star in their latest short film dedicated to the iconic Jackie Bag.
The British model stars in the movie that has been shot to garner attention for the brand’s signature Jackie Bags which have been christened after the stylish Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Frequently spotted on the arm of the First Lady, the bag was again introduced to the label by Creative Director Frida Giannini in 2009. The Jackie bags ooze of sophisticated beauty with a jet-set appeal.
Like Jackie, the First Lady, the film also shows Moss being chased by paparazzi with the Jackie the bag. Shot in various locations in Rome as well as the Tiburtina railway station, Kate is seen clutching and shielding herself with the Jackie Soft bag. Her co star Clement Chabernaud also plays the role of protecting her from the lenses of the paparazzi.
Praising the super model, Frida Giannini states, “I have always admired Kate – she is an icon of today. A trendsetter, an independent woman and absolutely contemporary. She embodies my Fall-Winter collection as a sophisticated woman who dresses to please herself rather than others.”
Anders Hallberg has directed the film while Riccardo Ruini has been commissioned as the art director for the same.
