Karlie Kloss is celebrating the last month of 2015 by starring on the cover of Vogue December issue. The 23 year old American fashion model makes a voguish statement for the second time for the prestigious final issue of the most revered fashion bible.
Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier, the beauty-with-brains is mapping out her future and reveals that is more than just modelling in the accompanying interview. Wearing Elie Saab for the cover, the diva is dressed in a tiered, fringed gown from Marchesa’s autumn 2015 collection.Karlie is currently splitting her time between her studies at New York University and walking the most famous catwalks in the world. She speaks her mind out clearly, stating that modelling was never on her mind while growing up and she didn’t think about fashion at all. She added that she grew up dreaming of becoming a dancer though.
Throwing more light on her urge to learn coding as well as revealing her business plans for the future, she explains, “About two years ago I started to think about what happens to me next. I’m a 23-year-old model and I want to think less about my looks and more about my future, and that involves my brain. I want to run companies, have a business future.” She welcomes the tag of geek, adding, “Call me a nerd, but I love coding, the language of computers. Understanding coding is a superpower. I met some tech entrepreneurs and they are billionaires through learning this stuff. I’m so competitive with myself and I am fascinated by the language of technology so I decided to be part of the conversation… I think it’s sexy to learn this stuff; it enables and it empowers both sexes.”Karlie Kloss debuted on Vogue’s cover in 2012 which was shot by Nick Knight and styled by Lucinda Chambers.
