Karl Lagerfeld isn’t new to designing candles. The creative director of the Chanel and Fendi has already wooed candle connoisseurs with his collection of candles. The messiah of the fashion world is keen to add his scent to the festivity in the air by launching new candles. Created in collaboration with perfumer John-Paul Welton, the new candles reflect its designer’s iconic personality by being dressed in dark sunglasses and a white porcelain collar with a little black button. Contained in a white lacquered glass based on a porcelain base, the candle is scented with oriental spices of mandarin, orange, and pink peppercorn in the top notes, followed by jasmine, orange blossom, cardamom, nutmeg and a base of teak.The newest candle from Karl’s den makes an ideal stocking filler and a small Christmas gift option for the designer’s fans. Offered in limited quantity of 300 pieces only, the new Candle Karl is available in selected stores for over $300. The candles are also exclusively available at ConSept, London’s newest high-end concept store.
