This career spanning box set features 19 discs and 223 tracks. Twelve of the albums feature bonus tracks, sourced from the 2005 re-mastered versions of Mellencamp’s Mercury releases.
Mellencamp was one of the biggest rock stars of the 1980s, selling over 40 million records worldwide and scoring 22 top 40 hits in the United States. Hits like “Rain on the Scarecrow”, “Jack & Diane”, “Small Town” and “Pink Houses” are still staples on classic rock radio stations. Mellencamp was nominated for 13 Grammies in his career, winning once.
