Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence has bought an adorable five-bedroom home in Beverly Hills. The 5,500-square-foot house has a long history of celebrity owners, including Ellen Degeneres and Jessica Simpson. Lawrence paid $8.225 million for the residence.
Lawrence’s new home mixes modern and traditional elements to produce an elegant, homey and relaxing vibe. The lush grounds, which include a koi pond and pool, have Mediterranean and Victorian influences.
The 24-year old Lawrence is Hollywood’s top female star. Her new film, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, is due out next month. The blond actress won an Oscar for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook. Other films include American Hustle, Winter’s Bone and X-Men: Days of Future Past.
