Jay Z is raising a toast to his latest acquisition. The American rapper has purchased the legendary Armand de Brignac champagne brand for an undisclosed amount. The spirits label is renowned for expensive gold bottles of champagne that retail for about $300 for regular size.
PIN ITThe 44 year old hip-hop star has been fond of Armand de Brignac champagne and didn’t shy away from an opportunity to own it too! The champagne also known as the Ace of Spades has been featured in Jay Z’s video of Show Me What You Got in 2006. The musician had also displayed a tower of hundreds of the Armand de Brignac bottles during a fundraising party hosted by him and attended by President Obama at his New York club.
New York-based Sovereign Brands, a wine and spirits company owned by the Berish family, confirmed the sale.
