Luxury house IWC Schaffhausen’s has launched their latest timepiece: Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar Digital Date Month. For the first time, it is available in titanium.
Limited to 100 individually numbered pieces, the latest edition to the Ingenieur family features a slate-colored dial and black hands with luminescence. The 45 millimeter case is made of grade 5 titanium, with a similar strength to aerospace airframe and engine components.
The perpetual calendar has large digital displays for the date and the month and is mechanically programmed to recognize the different lengths of the months – even adding a leap day at the end of February every four years.
