We’ve watched with interest as Infiniti has developed its new design language and displayed it in concept form over the last two years beginning with the Q30 at the Frankfurt Motor Show just two short years ago.
It’s all about to get real as in September, Infiniti will unveil the Q30 in its production form in Frankfurt on September 17th. Currently undergoing dynamic testing with a camouflaged exterior, the Q30 does not have appeared to have strayed too far from it’s original design intent.
While its main competition will appears to be compact crossovers like the BMW X3, Audi A3 Sportback, Lexus NX and Lincoln MKC, the lower roofline suggests it could be a viable alternative for sports sedan drivers who want similar performance, but a little more room.
Infiniti has not released any information on powertrain, or how much of the interior design of the concept will make its way into final production. Suffice it to say, we will have more details as they become available.
