Stopping off from his world tour — with more than 80 dates, and after three private concerts in Porto Cervo, in St. Tropez and in Dalian — pianist Lang Lang gave a unique concert specifically for Swiss watchmaker Hublot on the largest cruise boat in the world, Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas.
The musical event was part of an overall celebration as Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot CEO, and Rick de la Croix, Hublot Global Travel Retail President, invited guests to fete the opening of Hublot’s new official boutique at sea aboard the superlative cruising vessel.
Inaugurating the Hublot boutique gives the brand a strong presence in the high-end cruise ship market segment, offering the chance to reach luxury customers wherever they may be traveling.
Lang Lang, a 33 year old virtuoso acclaimed by audiences throughout the world — and an Ambassador for Hublot over the past year — filled this most exclusive concert with beautiful music… and over an hour of improvisational moments.
Quantum of the Seas will this year make a global journey from New York to Shanghai, covering four continents and incredible destinations… all with the luxury watch brand’s shop on board. This “Global Odyssey” adventure is a nearly two-month, epic journey around the world via the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, Arabian Gulf and Indian Ocean.
Sounds like the excursion of a lifetime.
