Hotel Arts Barcelona, the iconic Barcelona hotel, a Ritz-Carlton property, has launched a new spa with leading Spanish brand Natura Bissé with spectacular views of the city and coastline creating the finest marine wellness experience on the beach front.
The impressive new spa ’43 The Spa’ offers guests the ultimate beauty experience. Solidifying its existing reputation as one of leading spas in Europe, the luxury spa in Barcelona is now offering treatments by the prestigious luxury Spanish skincare brand Natura Bissé, high performing products created with cutting-edge, highly effective, active ingredients that are a favorite with top beauticians around the world.
Situated on the 43rd floor of the Barcelona waterfront hotel, 43 The Spa is named after its prime location, which offers guests spectacular panoramic views of the coastline from some of the treatment rooms, vitality pool and sauna. The spa is comprised of eight treatment rooms, several with natural light and all with chromo therapy. The spa features a wet zone including saunas and Klafs color therapy steam rooms, vitality pools and ice fountains. Hotel Arts Barcelona was one of the first hotels in the city to embrace wellness as a necessity for its guests.
For the launch of 43 The Spa, Hotel Arts has chosen to use the exclusive Diamond Collection by Natura Bissé. The luxury skincare brand has also created two signature treatments especially for 43 The Spa, combining the expertise of Natura Bissé and the marine environment of the hotel for rejuvenation, wellness and relaxation. The two exclusive signature 43 The Spa treatments incorporate the use of seashells and use products with ingredients that reflect the coastal location including:
The Sublime Diamond Journey (2h 20 min)
A revolutionary ritual including an innovative body exfoliation with diamond dust, which is removed with a balancing magnetic therapy through a combination of three ancestral massages. A Shirodhara facial massage is performed with Ayurvedic sophisticated maneuvers and an aromatic drip using small seashells, to provide maximum well-being. This luxurious treatment also incorporates a facial lifting massage. It ensures an immediate effect that exceptionally firms the skin.
The 43 Sea Experience (1h 20 min)
This treatment stimulates the senses through aromatherapy oils to deeply relax the whole body. It incorporates chiropractic techniques and pressure techniques over the body performed with seashells. The result is smoother, firmer and more supple skin
There are also a range of signature treatments by Natura Bissé including facials, massages as well as pedicures and manicures. For the body, the team of expert therapists at 43 The Spa suggest a refreshing Citrus Body Scrub and Body Soufflé, an intense treatment with fresh citrus aromas that protects the skin from dehydration and premature aging, achieving a rejuvenated and firm appearance from the first session.
Natura Bissé services will be seen in other parts of the luxury hotel, too. For example, at the pool, there will be a mobile beauty station offering sun products to guests indulging in Barcelona’s sunny climate.
With famed architect Frank Gehry’s iconic fish sculpture anchoring its entrance, the Hotel Arts Barcelona rises 44 stories above the seafront, making this blue glass and exposed steel hotel’s façade a true beacon of luxury. The hotel features a contemporary collection of artistic masterpieces and stunning accommodations that include 28 luxury duplex apartments.
