Never mind that the place was packed and hotter than a Russian sauna. Running 30 minutes late (the usual fashion week tardy), Hexa by Kuho presented a collection that made us all forget about the sweat running down our noses. Inspired by the feminine warrior, the pieces brought about a sportive energy with designs like sweatshirts and jumpers. Though there was nothing boring about this casual take on the ready to wear- The eye catching 3D digital prints of traditional Korean patterns contrasted well with pinks, rose gold, variations of brown, burgundy and the classical black and navy. Designer Jung Kuho (who is also the executive creative director at Samsung of all places) has also acted as the art director for many plays and films. Judging from his SS14 collection, it is no surprise this multi-talent was chosen by Elle magazine as one of the best new designers.
