Hermès is set to pick one of the colors of the rainbow and bring it right in to your closet with its latest limited edition collection. The French brand has unveiled Indigo which is a capsule collection of its signature silk squares. True to its name, the range highlights various shades of indigo color. The 140 Gold Spurs large silk and cashmere scarf featured above is the most expensive of the collection, sporting a $2,500 tag.
Comprising of four scarves only, this collection of dark purplish blue squares is made from cashmere and silk. Hermès intends to bring attention to the printing skill of their Lyon-based artisans and natural indigo dying methods from various parts of Asia with this latest range. Vogue also reports that the capsule collection sees the brand’s legendary designs reinterpreted using diverse printing and embroidery techniques, with bridles, spurs and colored feathers all appearing in the unique pieces.
The 140 Brazil Bandhini large silk scarf will be available for about $2,100.
The medium sized 90 Kantha Camails silk scarf can be worn for about $1,150.
Lastly the 90 Bridels of Arashi gala medium silk scarf is the most affordable of the collection for $800.
Available in medium as well as large size, the Indigo scarves will hit the shelves from 13th February onward at the brand’s 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris 8th and 17 Rue de Sèvres, Paris 6th stores. Those not residing in the French capital can still grab one of this blue-hued collection as it will be available online too.
