The Greenwich Hotel in New York is partnering with Shinola, a Detroit, Michigan brand of luxury handcrafted accessories, including bicycles, watches, and leather accessories, to offer his & her “Bixby” bicycles, which retail for $1,950, to their guests to use during their visit.
Located one block away from the Hudson River Park in Manhattan, guests can enjoy a bicycle ride of the city’s best sights from Battery Park to the George Washington Bridge paired with a locally sourced, gourmet picnic lunch. The Bixby is a handcrafted three-speed cruiser bike with leather saddles and an American-made steel fork and frame designed for comfort, utility and smooth urban riding in wet or dry weather.
After a leisurely ride, guests can visit Shinola’s NYC Flagship Store at 177 Franklin Street in TriBeCa, which is a stone-throw-away from The Greenwich Hotel, browse their collection of watches, leather goods, and journals, as well as learn about the brand’s dedication to reviving the American manufacturing industry and its commitment to craftsmanship.
