The Glenfiddich 40 Year Old Rare Collection, unveiled this past April, is one of the finest single malt Scotch whiskeys ever made.
A panel of 75 international whiskey experts gave the drink it’s Gold medal in the 2003 Whisky Magazine independent blind tasting.
The Glenfiddich 40 Year Old Rare Collection was limited to 600 bottles and now sells for over $2,500.
“This malt has matured with elegance,” says world-renowned whisky expert Michael Jackson, author of The Malt Whisky Companion. “It is the most urbane Glenfiddich that I have tasted… it tells a story a little at a time, dryly, almost teasingly. It makes such good company that I am reluctant to share it.”
This is the sixth release of 40 year old created using the remnant vatting system. All bottles are individually numbered, signed, sealed with wax security tag & inlaid with a copper badge. The outer packaging consists of a calf leather case. The bottle comes complete with lock and key & matching leather-bound book detailing the whiskey’s history.
