Baselworld 2014 is upon us and Graff Diamonds is celebrating it by unveiling the $55 million dollar Hallucination watch. Tagging it as the most valuable watch ever created, Graff has put up their colourful dazzling creation on display at the world’s biggest watch fair.
The rare multi-colored diamond timepiece has been designed for a lady who values time as well as the art that goes behind creating such an extraordinary masterpiece.
Though a timepiece, Hallucination is more a piece of exceptional jewelry. At first glance, it appears to be an impressive bracelet. Only on a closer observation, the tiny dial studded with pink diamonds makes a distinctive time-telling statement. Embodying the finest in haute joaillerie, this feminine watch features an unprecedented kaleidoscope of over 110cts of extremely rare coloured diamonds. Conceptualized by Laurence Graff, Chairman of Graff Diamonds, the Hallucination was worked upon for thousands of hours by Graff’s highly skilled team of designers, gemologists and Master Craftsmen.
Laurence Graff also added, “The Graff Hallucination is a sculptural masterpiece; a celebration of the miracle of coloured diamonds. For many years I have thought about creating a truly remarkable watch that illustrates our all consuming passion for diamonds. The Hallucination has made my diamond dream a reality.”
This year Graff Diamonds also made to headlines by opening a fabulous new London store, located in the Fine Jewellery Room at Harrods.
