The corporate gifts are flowing in to offices around the country this week and next and we can’t help but wonder: why do most of them stink so badly? Sad arrays of fruit, off-brand chocolates, and stale crackers are the downfall of many a gift box, the components of which will be relegated to the back of your pantry or the office break room.
That’s why we practically jumped for joy when we discovered Winston Flowers, a Boston-based luxury florist with a divine collection of gourmet gift crates perfect for any occasion.
Hand sourced and curated in house by a dedicated staffer, Bob Sances, each gift crate combines artisanal, hand-made products (many designed exclusively for Winston Flowers) that are thoughtfully packaged with fresh greenery in beautiful wooden crates.
From the simple and fresh fruit ($100-$125) or fruit and cheese ($110) array to a lavish “our favorite things” box packed with cheese, flatbreads, fruit, chocolates and cookies, these showstopper gifts are gorgeous deliveries as hostess presents or a thoughtful last-minute present for any clients and friends on your list.
We also love that many of these are perfect for year-round gifts and entertaining as well — a “Winston’s Breakfast” box ($250) offers pancake mix and pure maple syrup, blueberry loaf cake, donut muffins, addictively wonderful madelines, and granola, as well as loose tea, honey and jam. For new moms, there’s also a beautiful “baby” basket, filled with flowers, lotion, soft toys and a blanket ($95 – $250). Those local to the Boston area can also enjoy baskets with wine and champagne.
Seriously, we just can’t get enough of these beautiful crates.
Pursuitist received a sample gift crate, but then promptly ordered more for holiday gifts. Our opinions are our own.
