No name other than ‘The Golden Eagle’ justifies this creation of Kevin Peters. He has made this all-in-gold eagle statue which is a real masterpiece and can’t be replicated easily. He chose varied forms of gold to complete his luxurious creative work. To start with, the golden eagle’s head has been made by using 18kt gold and the beak with 14kt gold. This priceless statue was created using too much of detailing that consumed Kevin Peter’s 4000 hours. The exquisite masterpiece is 26 cms in height and 10 cms in width. It surely inspires a great flight of luxury.
The golden eagle is all hand crafted and has a three dimensional design to it. The detailing of the work is appreciable and just marvelous for any admirer to notice and praise. The head of the golden eagle weighs about 500 grams and has been studded with about 763 round brilliant cut diamonds. The collective weight of the precious diamonds is 53.66 carats. It has a rich rhodium finish too.
Coming to the body of the eagle, it is beautifully crafted from 14kt yellow gold with great detailed feathers that represent finest of the art-work employed in its creation. The complete body of this golden eagle weighs about 4865 grams. Even the base of this statue has been given a royal appeal as it is made in 10kt yellow gold with a rounded design. With some great polishing this eagle sure takes your breath away!
According to the manufacturers, the Golden Eagle is world’s largest diamond studded gold sculpture that has been sold at auction to raise funds for breast cancer research for a whopping US$5 million.
