Giorgio Armani introduced its first line of branded jeans in 1981. To celebrate the anniversary, Armani Jeans is launching a project that will unfold over the next two years. Armani says they are “returning to its natural roots to stress the ancient and deep significance of the indigo world. Indigo, the colour of the sky and of royalty, uniquely precious and prestigious, is recognised as a symbol of nobility and distinction.”
To celebrate Giorgio Armani’s blue universe, an exceptional range of jeans for both men and women has been born, christened “Goldenblue”. Created in a special fabric obtained from a fusion of indigo and gold – blue for the warp and gold for the weft – these jeans have an unmistakable frosted look which blends perfectly with the brass metal ware.
Goldenblue Boy and Goldenblue Girl purchasers will receive a special limited edition T-shirt as a gift at the point of sale.
Goldenblue will be available from the end of July in all Armani Jeans sales outlets throughout the world.
