Gigi Hadid is boldly moving ahead by shedding her clothes for the latest campaign of the high-end shoe company. Along with Joan Smalls and Lily Aldridge, Gigi fronts Stuart Weitzman’s Spring 2016 campaign by wearing nothing but a pair of sandals. Featuring the models completely naked, the ‘Nearly Nude’ ad highlights Stuart Weitzman’s Nearly Nude sandal which is actually the block-heel version of the brand’s iconic Nudist stiletto. Captured by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino, the black-and-white campaign also marks the takeover of Gisele Bündchen, who fronted the label’s campaigns and starred in Stuart Weitzman’s first-ever commercial, by the trio.The American designer and founder of the eponymous international brand also stated that the models were chosen because of their social relevance and fashion-forward trendsetter statuses and not just for their beauty. While the provocative photos will make heads turn in outdoor advertising campaigns in the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Weitzman told The Huffington Post, “I am leaving for Spain tonight — because after I saw the images of the girls in those shoes I was inspired to create the next collection.” The Huffington Post Via Stuart Weitzman
