Being dead has never stopped celebrities from making money.
With all the tumult surrounding Michael Jackson’s estate, you’ve got to admire how Frank Sinatra made sure his affairs were in order before he went to that big nightclub in the sky. After recently announcing the release of a massive career CD/DVD retrospective due in November, the Sinatra Estate has announced its next venture: wine. The Chairman of the Board’s estate has announced the release of its first vintage, Come Fly With Me, a limited-production 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is being produced from a five-acre vineyard site in Napa Valley, and only 500 cases will be bottled. “We spent several years seeking out the right vineyard land for this project and are delighted with the quality of fruit it is producing,” said Sinatra Family Estates managing partner John Schwartz. The wine exhibits a deep ruby color with flavors of cedar, tobacco leaf, blueberry, and black currant, with beautiful tannins and a nice fleshy finish. from Limewire
