Fantasy art pioneer Frank Frazetta died two months ago, so it’s not surprising to see his work become more valuable. Frazatta’s “Conan the Destroyer” was bought recently for $2 million – believed to be the most ever paid for one of his works.
Frazetta’s illustrations of Conan, Tarzan, dragons, wizards, sorceresses and scantily clad women have appeared on comic books, album covers and movie posters for decades.
