Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Boston Opens

Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston opened, becoming the second Four Seasons property in Boston and the third tallest building in the city at 724 feet tall.

Located in the heart of the chic Back Bay neighborhood, the hotel is steps from Symphony Hall, Newbury Street, Copley Plaza, and Fenway Park. The design was done by Henry Cobb of Pei Cobb Freed & Partners in collaboration with Gary Johnson of CambridgeSeven Associates.  Surrounding the elliptical “guitar pick” shaped building are streetscapes by landscape architect Michael Van Valkenburgh.  Bill Rooney of Bill Rooney Studio Inc was commissioned to drive the design aesthetic of the Hotel’s public spaces and guest rooms.

The Hotel’s 215 hotel rooms and suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows, with every detail anticipating the needs and wants of modern travellers, from soundproofing between floors and rooms and precision-glazed windows to at-one’s-fingertips in-room technologies.

The property is home to New England’s only Zuma, as well as some of the finest wellness offerings in the city. The Wellness Floor, encompassing the entire 7th floor of the hotel, includes extensive spa, fitness and salon facilities, and a stunning indoor pool high above city streets.

“Our second location in Boston is truly a jewel in the Four Seasons portfolio, with its striking architecture, modern interiors and world class amenities setting the stage for a fully customised Four Seasons experience,” says Christian Clerc, President, Worldwide Hotel Operations, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

“Each and every detail has been thoughtfully curated, designed to ensure guests enjoy the highest standards of quality and the most genuine and personal service – the markers of a Four Seasons experience the world over.”
