Four Seasons Hotel New York Raises A Toast To TY Bar And FIFTY7

Four Seasons Hotel New York in Midtown Manhattan is a luxury five-star hotel that towers 52 storeys tall. Although the hotel has been much admired since two decades, it is again the talk of the town in New York as it welcomes visitors to two new remodeled spaces.Four Seasons HotelExtensive renovations at the 57th Street landmark has rendered new look and event spaces. Four Seasons New York raises a toast to the refurbished TY Bar. Christened after the hotel’s owner, Mr Ty Warner, the bar has been designed in collaboration with the renowned designer Pierre-Yves Rochon. The TY Bar recalls the Art Deco period with its modernist themes, gleaming surfaces and glamorous vibe.

Four Seasons HotelThe red themed space boasts of the 8-seat, 19-foot Imperador marble-topped bar at the center. The 88-seat TY Bar also glams up with a glass etching of a woman dancing among clouds set above the oversized red lacquer bar cabinet. Raising the bar of uniqueness, the furnishings including the plush red velvet banquette were exclusively commissioned for TY Bar. Rochon himself designed the carpeting as an interpretation of designer of the hotel, IM Pei’s, original coffered 33-foot ceilings.

Four Seasons HotelAlso a spectacular 12-foot by 12-foot digital television depicts changing views of New York’s famous skyline. It will also broadcast major sporting and entertainment events to the delight of TY Bar’s patrons.

Overlooking the 58th Street, the 3,200 square feet of grand yet intimate party-ready space can accommodate up to 200 guests. Ideal to plan larger meetings and host some of New York’s most prominent events as well as weddings for discerning couples who are seeking a one-of-a-kind reception space, the FIFTY7 encompasses of three intricate areas that can be separated by two decorative panels.

Four_Seasons_Hotel_New_york_FIFTY7A dramatic entrance made of antique bronze patina glass is an homage to Pei’s pyramid at the Louvre in Paris, as conceived by Hotel owner Ty Warner and interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon. Once inside, guests can marvel at the built-in show kitchen and two giant state-of-the-art screens at either end of the room. The new Art Deco-inspired event space will entertain guests from March 1, 2015.
