“Foodspotting, a geolocation guide for foodies, announced today that it has scored $3 million in Series A funding in a round led by BlueRun Ventures with follow-on participation from seed round investors. Jay Jamison, a Venture Partner at BlueRun, will also be joining Foodspotting’s board. Foodspotting was launched by Alexa Andrzejewski (Adaptive Path) and Ted Grubb (Get Satisfaction). Soraya Darabi (Epicurious, The New York Times, Drop.io) advised the project, and then joined full-time in 2010 as a co-founder.” – read more at Mashable
