Gisele Bundchen joins the league of celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Brad Pitt, Carole Bouquet, Audrey Tautou and Marilyn Monroe to be the face of Chanel No. 5. The super model has also taken the liberty to reveal pictures of the campaign on Instagram.
Feeling honored to be the face of Chanel No.5, she stated that it was an amazing experience to work with film director Baz Luhrmann and Chanel team. Enthusiastically, she also shared a behind the scene picture of the campaign. Chanel’s new muse has been captured by Patrick Demarchelier reclining on an illuminated No. 5 instead of the traditional CC logo. Gisele also shared an image of the sun, surfboard and sand themed campaign which shows the world’s highest-paid model hit the beach in Chanel’s long-sleeved navy wetsuit carrying a surfboard sporting the iconic interlocked Cs.
Teasing her fans with such images only hypes the attention Chanel is seeking by roping in Gisele Bundchen.
FYI- Chanel No. 5 was the first perfume launched by French couturier Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel. Also in 2012 Brad Pitt was the first male to advertise Chanel No. 5 in the history of the fragrance.
