Givenchy, the French haute couture brand makes its US debut by opening up a 3100 square foot in Las Vegas. Back in 2008, Givenchy’s New York City flagship was shut down. Part of the luxury group LVMH, the fashion label’s latest opening on the US shore will house luxury clothing and accessories for men as well as women. Rubbing shoulders with the likes of Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès and more, Givenchy adds more glamour to the shopper’s paradise at the Wynn and Encore Esplanades.
The design of this Las Vegas store is based on the brand’s flagship outlet in Paris, which revolves around the signature Givenchy delivery boxes. Resembling the lacquered wood boxes, the rooms feature floors in natural oak parquet. This is also akin to the French label’s haute couture salons on Avenue George V in Paris. American marble adorns the walls and floor at the entrance of the store.
While ready-to-wear collections are well displayed all over the space, the bags and accessories are put up in marble wall niches and white-lacquered console tables. Jewelry and other small leather goods are put on display on marble or brass stands.
To mark the opening, Givenchy has designed three limited edition small Shark Chain bags in red crocodile skin with red nappa lining, lambskin leather, and trimmed with pale gold hardware. Exclusively available at the Givenchy Wynn Las Vegas store, each of this bag will feature a special metal plaque displaying the number of the limited edition etched along with the Givenchy Wynn Las Vegas 2014 mark.
