The first ever Rolls-Royce Motor Cars exhibition is opening at the BMW Museum in Munich. “Strive for Perfection” celebrates the tenth year of Rolls‑Royce under BMW Group ownership as well as the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sir Henry Royce.
The 10,000+ foot exhibit is in the BMW Museum bowl and includes 15 original Rolls‑Royce cars dating from 1907 to 2012. One of the highlights of the collection is the legendary Rolls-Royce 10EX, which was built in 1926 to demonstrate the performance of the New Phantom.
The exhibit doesn’t just show off the the autos, but it highlights the craftsmanship of the other British luxury manufacturers associated with Rolls-Royce, including such industries as fashion, leather goods, time pieces, glassware and more.
The Rolls-Royce exhibition runs through March 2014.
