Diane von Furstenberg is photographed with Naomi Campbell, Tina Brown, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dakota Fanning and this year’s award winners at the annual DVF Awards in New York. The event, created by Diane von Furstenberg in 2010, recognises women who are working to transform the lives of other women.
Even Presidential candidate and former First Lady Hillary Clinton, 67, was in attendance, wearing a high-collar tweed jacket. Clinton presented the Lifetime Leadership Award to Ambassador Melanne Verveer, with whom she worked as both First Lady and Secretary of State. “Everywhere women need a champion, she shows up,” said Clinton. “She is the advocate that women and girls need in their corner.”
The event was hosted in a suite at the United Nations headquarters.
