Germany stole the show by winning the 2014 World Cup. While the whole team, home country and fans worldwide are celebrating the classic victory, Beats by Dre has also commemorated their success. The audio company has designed 24 pure gold plated Beats Pro studio headphones for each member along with the manager, Joachim Löw, of the winning team.
The commemorative gilded headphones will celebrate by indulging each German team member with Midas-touched acoustic as well as visual pleasure. Beats describes them as “the ultimate prize to go with the ultimate sporting victory.”
To up the glamour quotient further, Beats has roped in supermodel Naomi Campbell for a campaign that showcase the Gold Beats Pro headphones to the whole world. Titled Golden, the promotion features the model as the world trophy, dressed in golden dress, sporting golden headphones and playing games with a golden soccer ball too!
Fashion photographer Rankin captured Naomi looking like the dazzling world cup.
The winning team received just one world cup, but Beats thrilled all the 24 members and gave each one a reason to celebrate with the 24 carat Gold Beats Pro headphones. Though Beats is not officially linked with the FIFA like Hublot, the brand managed to grab the golden opportunity by winning over the fans of the sport as well as music with this commemorative feat.
Take a look at the video that features Naomi stating, “We know you only get one trophy, so Dr. Dre and myself are sending you a pair of 24-carat gold Beats.”
