Dior is out to glamorize the festive season with its Golden Shock Makeup Collection for 2014 Christmas. Designed to sparkle during those end-of-the-year parties, the makeup from the Golden Shock look is an alchemy of raw color and metal shine. The French luxury fashion house has ingeniously blended gold with bold shades to create a stunning look worth a dazzled gaze. This winter, Dior beauty provides women with a radiance, a makeup master stroke that revisits the House classics and infuses them with gold sparkle. The new line comprises of lipstick, powder, eye shadow palette and nail paint in a range of shimmering reds, pinks and browns.
The Diorific lipstick is renewed in a two-tone version to enhance your pout. Gliding out of the symbolic gilded case, the two-tone stick merges pure color with its iridescent hologram. Use both the sides to dress up the lips perfectly by simply layering the two or pairing different texture on each lip or give a touch of iridescence at the center of the lips to add volume. In crimson, luscious pink or burgundy, smiles burn bright. Available in eight shades, each lipstick comes with one side boasting of pure colour with a velvet matte finish and the other the same shade with a pearly gold shimmer.
Dior brings gold to the fingertips with the Diorific Golden Shock Top Coat. Along with four new Diorific Vernis shades of Crimson Shock, Smoky liquorice, pearlescent Mirror and golden Gold Equinoxe, they light up the nails with a brilliant shine. The Golden Shock Top Coat adds a finishing touch for a festive manicure with delicate golden leaves. All by itself also the gilded coat blesses the fingers with the Midas Touch.
The Diorific Golden Shock compact powder sculpts and lights up the face with delicate glimmers. The illuminating pressed powder has two sides for two effects which promise an exquisite complexion, tinged with a pink or golden yellow shimmer.
Dior reinvents the 5 Couleurs legend with a limited edition 2014 holiday couture colors and effects eyeshadow palette. Based on a central shade, the signature of the palette, four accessory shades are used to create a multi-faceted look. The 5 Couleurs palette boasts a wide variety of textures and shades with a host of effects: matte, satiny, iridescent and ultra-shimmery for infinite ways to dress the eyes. The French label has also made it easier by creating two ready-to-wear looks for the eyes – natural and sophisticated – based on the central shade.
