The Razor Residence made it on our daily dream home list thanks to its impressive luxurious appearance and fantastic natural views. Designed by San Diego-based architect Wallace E. Cunningham, this fascinating architectural masterpiece spreads its minimalist, view-catching interiors over a total surface of 10,000 square feet. The four bedroom, six bathroom contemporary residence is located in La Jolla, California. Its magnificent shape and fabulous use of materials – glass, steel and white polished concrete – seems to stop time and only focus on the splendid panoramic views. The constant tranquility felt while on the property is more than enough to make you feel you live in a modern fairytale.
The courtyard is the focal point of the house – integrated into the residential structure, it’s protected from winds and offers unequaled moments in the company of fresh, clean air. The 60 feet long infinity pool is stunning and completes the courtyard with its promise of relaxation. The living space, dining room and kitchen were created as a seamless space, differentiated by the slight raised platform the cooking area sits on. First listed in May 2008 for $39 million, it still is on the market, auction bidding starting at $13,900,000.
