Nestled between the waterfront on one side and the street on the other, under Florida’s clear blue sky, the North Bay Residence imitates the shape of a bar, with two additional volumes forming three distinct courtyards – the Tree Court, the Rain Court and the Water court. A challenging project by Touzet Studio, the residence runs from east to west, channeling the views from the first courtyard towards the beautiful panoramas seen from the garden side.
Glass walls and the series of three courtyards complimented by details in the architecture created a stunning, open home flooded from almost each side by natural light. Protected by a screen of mature live oaks on the street side, the North Bay Residence isolates the inhabitants away from the stressful world, in a retreat in perfect harmony with its surroundings. Its location in Miami Beach, Florida, makes it rise to the top of our dream home list.
