Today’s Daily Dream home isn’t just a property, but a lifestyle.
Located in the private residential development of Maravilla Los Cabos, Casa Azul offers a thoughtfully-designed layout for indoor-outdoor living as well as access to the amenities and services a private club.
Custom built and designed by Cabo Development Group, this $11.75 million stunner offers a sprawling four bedrooms and 7,000 square foot main home, as well as a 2,000 square foot guest casita, as well as nearly 10,000 square feet of outdoor entertaining space, inclusive of a fire pit, infinity-edge pool, and multiple seating/gathering spaces.
While the stunning feature of most homes in Maravilla is the proximity to the Sea of Cortez and one of Cabo’s only swimmable beaches on Santa Maria Bay, Casa Azul offers some superior design elements more frequently found in high-end California homes as well, including a Tzalam stained wood ceiling in the entryway, an open kitchen with custom book-matched Quartzite stone waterfall and countertops; custom mahogany-caoba millwork; and top-of-the-line SubZero, Bosch and Wolf appliances, and a butler’s pantry.
With more than 350 days annually of sunshine, Cabo residents tend to spend much of their time outdoors, but Casa Azul offers ample indoor space as well, including a living room with a beautifully copper-clad fireplace and natural stone wall detailing, and an indoor dining room with a custom table for 12 made of a Parota tree trunk.
The master bath is a treat, including a BainUltra ThermoMasseur free-standing tub, open shower, Italian marble counters, a built-in marble bench, and sunken dual rain head outdoor shower.
Unusual for Cabo, the home also features a lower level, ideal for days when you just want to get out of the sun, as well as a large laundry area with two washers and two dryers as well as a service powder room and space for another guest suite, ideal for a maid or nanny.
The home is technically tricked out as well, incorporating Lutron motorized shades with built-in pockets, whole-house security and CCTV systems, and back-up generator.
The outdoor areas feature a built-in gas barbecue and pizza oven, as well as an infinity-edge saltwater pool.
But Casa Azul offers much more than just the house. All owners are also members of the exclusive Maravilla community, a lifestyle and residence club that offers everything from a private Fred Couples-designed 18-hole golf course to multiple restaurants, water sports, a full-service spa, movie theater and children’s club amenities, plus exclusive access to the Montage Resort & Residences next door, newly opened as of this past May. The exclusive club is made up of fewer than 100 member residents, all of whom own property at Maravilla in the form of condos, townhomes or residences.
Want to see other homes within the development? Don’t miss Casa Higuera, a previous Daily Dream home.
